Happy All The Time! Shandy’s energetic spirit runs from her smile all the way to her cute, rapid butt-wiggling nubbin tail. She has a sweet spirit and exciting energy! If you’ve been meaning to start an exercise routine but don’t have a partner, Shandy is your girl. She may even set the pace for you and whip you into shape in no time, helping you build up your strength when walking her on-leash because she can be a bit leash-assertive. She’s been around other dogs, but is particular with whom she hangs out. She needs careful introductions. And while her youthful exuberance, at times, can seem a bit much, Shandy can also settle down and be content to play with balls and other toys. She truly is happy all the time despite her losing a home that she loved. She’s moved on from that relationship though and is looking for a forever family that likes to throw balls for her to chase (without the expectation that she will bring them back!) Shandy also enjoys a great meal and delicious treats; but what girl doesn’t? She will bring a smile to your face, add joy to your life, and love you unconditionally! Shandy would be a great addition to an active home.

All dogs will go through a transition period after finding a new home and may need a “refresher course” in house-breaking.

All the beautiful sentiments in the world weigh less than a single lovely action.
