Mia and Snickers came to Finding Shelter Animal Rescue through the Finding Peace program for pets of the terminally ill. Their human dad who became their primary caretaker after their human mom became disabled went into hospice care and no one else in the family could take this wonderful pair. They found safety and love in a Finding Shelter foster home. Six days after they came to Finding Shelter, we received word that their human dad passed away. We hope he had the peace of mind knowing that they were in good hands.

Mia and Snickers are sweet, cuddly couch potatoes with short bursts of playful energy. They love each other and love to beg for snacks so you need to carefully watch any unattended food! They are really into cuddling and being cozy! They are clean in the house and love to watch out of the window to alert you of any packages being delivered! Most of all, they are gentle and loving dogs who deserve to be loved again by a forever family. *
