Hi! I’m Bettina. Let me tell you about myself and hopefully we can be a terrific, forever match! I was born and lived on a Lancaster County, PA dairy farm that also runs a dog breeding operation sole;ly for profit. One that makes them lots and lots of money, in cash. I produced 10 litters of puppies for the farmer and when I couldn’t have puppies anymore, they called a Finding Shelter volunteer to pick me up and take me away. I was SO scared. I growled at all of the people who were there to help me. I didn’t know what was happening, all I knew was that my dog family was at the farm and I was in a new place. When the volunteers picked me up, they just responded to the call to save me. I didn’t have a rescue to go to so Finding Shelter asked their vet to help out by boarding me in their kennel until another rescue or Finding Shelter foster could be found. The week I spent there helped me out. A nurse named Stephanie was my first human friend and she helped me feel better about my new situation. The vet examined me and my teeth were falling out as she looked in my mouth. I had a dental cleaning and that helped me feel so, so, so much better! Then a foster family was found and again I was nervous to do something new but now I know what it is like to live indoors with really wonderful people who are kind and take good care of me. I love the other dogs in my foster home and now that I know that couches are so comfortable, I can’t remember what it was like to live in that tiny, dirty rabbit hutch! I am having too much fun playing with toys and getting my belly rubbed! I just know that a family is out there to love me forever so that my foster family can save another Chihuahua who needs help just like I did in the beginning. Are you the family to make all of my dreams come true?
Can’t adopt right now, but still want to grant me some wishes??? How about buying me an item off of my wish list? Just order and it will be shipped right to me! Thank you!
