Thank you for your interest in adopting! Our full adoption process is on hold during Covid 19 as we are taking the stay at home orders very seriously for the safety of our volunteers and members of the public. That means no dog meetings, home visits or adoptions until further notice. We are accepting and processing applications in the meantime and our adoption team will be in contact with you directly once received. Thank you.

Welcome to Finding Shelter

Operating since January 1, 2010, we are inspired by Sprout, our tiny, blind Chihuahua who, even after his passing in 2012, reminds us every day that saving the lives of homeless animals is no small “feet”!

RAY OF HOPE

The Ray of Hope Fund is in memory of our own little Ray and his journey into rescue and the peace he found at the end of his life.

FINDING PEACE

Finding Shelter Animal Rescue’s program to assist terminally ill people and their families place their beloved pets.

SPROUT’S ANGELS

The reason Finding Shelter exists is because of Sprout, our tiny, blind Chihuahua who taught us the true meaning of compassion.
