Rosie was used for breeding for nine years and is one of those very special souls who loves other dogs and people. She is friendly and loving and just wants to be a human’s companion. She needs a home with someone who likes a dog to follow them everywhere and will have a flexible enough schedule so Rosie has company. Since she did come from a puppy mill, she needs a home with a very secure fence as she can scare easily with loud noises and new experiences. She is as sweet as can be!
Rosie is sweet, loving and playful!
Rosie had a mammary tumor removed. She is otherwise very healthy!
Rosie is good with dogs.
She hasn’t been around any cats while with Finding Shelter, so we’re not yet sure how she’d react.
Rosie is good with calm, gentle children.
A secure, physical fence is required for Rosie as loud noises can spook her.
Rosie will require basic obedience training. She is both crate trained and housebroken.*
*All dogs will go through a transition period after finding a new home and may need a “refresher course” in house-breaking.
