Pippa is a true survivor! She bred for 10 years on a Lancaster County, PA puppy mill farm producing many puppies. When she was deemed no longer profitable the farmer called a Finding Shelter volunteer and she was voluntarily released by the legal and licensed breeding farm.

Pippa was obese from lack of exercise, had a skin infection, ear infection, infections in both eyes and such severe dental disease that she needed to have immediate surgery to clean her teeth and extract the ones that were loose and infected.

Pippa had to lose some weight and clear up her many infections before she could have a safe spay surgery. When she was ready for her spay it was discovered that she was actually pregnant! She showed no physical signs whatsoever! Four days later, the day after Christmas, Pippa gave birth to three beautiful puppies!

Pippa is sweet and smart and can be headstrong and is very independent. She shows no signs of being a senior. She is active and loves to run in the yard, chase and try to catch birds and go for long walks. Pippa needs a home with an experienced owner with a secure fence attached to the home. She is loving and ready to find her forever home!

Pippa may require basic obedience training. She is fully crate trained and house broken.

All dogs will go through a transition period after finding a new home and may need a “refresher course” in house-breaking.
